Wacky, Unusual And
Unique 2009 Calendars!
Looking to get your hands on 2009 calendars?
2009 has been a terrific year for calendar collectors as there has been an abundant selection of various calendars available. For anyone who missed it, here is a quick recap of some of the most popular 2009 calendars that were available (and likely still are!)
First of all, it's hard to go anywhere without seeing a Twilight calendar. Type 'calendars' into Amazon.com and you're likely to see a Twilight 16 month 2010 calendar, Twilight 2010 wall calendar, Twilight poster calendar... (You get the idea!)
In a nutshell, this 2010 wall calendar features stunning images from the blockbuster movie Twilight, which is a teenage vampire movie produced by Mark Morgan starring Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattison. But hey, that's so 2010. We're after pure and unadulterated 2009 calendars here!
Another calendar 2009 featured very large, fat male cheerleaders, and is a good example of the more unusual calendars to come out in 2009. Apparently this story even featured on Fox News - The Florida Martins were seeking guys to pose for the official MLB fat cheerleading squad. Make what you will of it, I'm sure it was good publicity!
A Selection Of Top 2009 Calendars
This http://office.microsoft.com page includes a brilliant list of excellent 2009 calendars. As it's a Microsoft site, expect most of the calendars to be for Word, Publisher or PowerPoint. Included are 2009 photo calendars, Julian calendars and Excel Calendar 2009.
While we are on the subject of calendars for 2009 and fat men, let me ask you if you know who Chubby Mikey is. Mikey is a good looking, 530 pound, 29 year old man from Memphis, Tennessee who also happens to be a financial consultant.
I didn't know who he was either, but he is selling his calendar 2009 for $14.99 and you get to see every naked roll. Search for Mikey at www.ChubbyMikey.com if you dare.
Other Interesting Calendars From 2009
From Ansel Adams 2009 Wall Calendar (see the spectacular black and white photos on this page) to the Book Lover's Calendar for 2009 - there's quite an offering. You can also find interesting calendars like the 2009 bubble-wrap calendar - if you like to pop bubble wrap then you can pop one bubble a day... (Just one a day? Heck!)
Talking about unique 2009 and 2010 calendars, one more calendar I would like to mention is one that lets you see what's it like to be in prison (gaol). Created by Kevin Beresford, this popular calendar is titled Her Majesty's Prisons of England and has sold more than 2000 copies.
Kevin just seemed to drive past prisons a lot and one day he decided to start taking pictures. In his calendar 2009, he captures images from 12 famous institutions. A good idea, eh?
Ok, so by now you have some solid and reliable ideas about what calendars you want for 2009. Or 2010 too. Or 2011... (You know what I mean!) Get yourself a good one whatever you do!
