Looking to do some calendar printing?
Perhaps one of the first things about preparing to print a calendar is to ask yourself this:
What style of calendar do you want to create?
After all there's a LOT of ways to skin a cat. (Did I say that right?)
From mini wall calendars to large format wall calendars, from custom desk calendars...
To 12 page promotional calendars. Which calendar is right for you?
Consider the quantity of your calendar to print needs too. (Ie, how many calendars are you planning on printing?
When it comes to printing your calendar, as a general rule, the more you print (quantity), the lower the price. Other factors to consider too are the binding, the paper used, the design and whether or not you'll be using photos, sizing, etc.
To get a quick idea of how much your calendar project might cost, try out this free pricing calculator. (Click through to the 'calendar-printing' section).
That's a very thorough way to get the specifics about your calendar to print.

Printing a surf calendar?
Let's do a quick example.
Say you wanted to print 1000 standard sized custom wall calendars (a quantity of 1000 to 1,999 is approx $4.85 per calendar) then that would cost you $4850.00.
And let's say you had a great entrepreneurial idea in mind and that you ended up selling 900 of those calendars at a hugely discounted $9.97.
That means you'd have pocketed $8973.00, give or take a few doll hairs.
Leaving you with a very nice $4000.00 profit!
See how profitable a little printing idea can be?
Of course you need to factor in distributor costs, taxes, and all the other stuff someone like an accountant will happily tell you about (Do some number crunching).
By the way, you might want to consider selling those calendars at $19.97! (Other price points too!)
There's also online printers to consider too. Here's a few sources to check out:
