Calendar templates, right when you need them!
Like you, I hopped online looking to find a calendar template that would not confuse me. Or freak me out. Ended up finding...
Way too many templates to choose from!
I mean, think about it. You're competing with online calendars that pop up conveniently on your computer, templates without holidays, straight up blank-as-they-get calendars...
And that's just the tip of the iceberg.
As for me, I'm a person who likes to change things around on a regular basis. I'll print out a 'to-do' list template but it'll sit unused for weeks.
Meanwhile all my notes, dates and important stuff get scribbled on the back of used envelopes. Explain that one!
But anyway, I didn't realize until a few weeks ago how much your diary or the calendar you use actually tells you about yourself and your interests in life.

I said be efficient
And if I'm scribbling all my notes on the back of old envelopes, does that mean I'm disorganized? (Or just stark raving mad?)
Note to self: Download this print calendar template and use it!
The funny thing is I have probably 10 or so templates saved to my laptop, and I'll still just use something that pops up on screen when I click the 'calendar' button!
It's probably just a convenience thing I guess.
So anyway - the lesson here is to PUT the templates to use. Grab and run with them. Download the right templates for you (choose weekly, monthly or daily), print and use as a part of your daily activity arsenal.
Wondering what a daily activity arsenal is?
I'm sure it's something to do with the tools you use to be efficient! But anyway...

Out of those templates there must be one that fits your style!
It feels like every year gets shorter and shorter. We all seem to be looking for ways to complete the things that we need to do in the shortest time possible (so that we can spend any additional time on ourselves!)
That's great - except it's when we go high speed at things that sometimes mistakes are made. If that happens, then we have to take time to correct those mistakes. So what's the solution?

Have fun too
Take time to slow things down.
To help with this, you need to become more organized. Simply put, being organized can help you manage your time better!
And when you're more organized, you're more productive and more efficient. And when you're more efficient you save time and money!
Having said that...
It's not always easy to implement time management skills into your life. It can freak you out at times.
One easy way to start is by using a 'to-do' list. Lists are real winners!
What you can do is make a list at the beginning of each day. This will help you get the things done that are needed.
Your list routine can work like this:
That's how to do it. When you have written and prioritized your list you can begin with the top item and work your way down.
Whatever is not completed on your list by the end of the day gets added to next day's list. (Sometimes that goes on for a while - I'm speaking from personal experience!)
This list routine may seem rigid however the benefits of using your time efficiently pay off big time. You get more things done, plus you have more time to yourself by the end of the week. Well that's the theory anyway!

Made a plan and ended up in far north India!
