About Calendars For Kids

Here are the reasons why
calendar for kids are cool:

1. Cool #1: Firstly, calendars can teach children about time. Most of us adults know that a calendar is a system for naming periods of time. We call these periods days, usually. Sometimes we call them other names too, but they wouldn't let me print that here.


2. Cool #2: Calendars are fascinating. Wouldn't you agree? Children are going to be quite awed out by how amazing calendars are. Just think... you can look into the future... and measure stuff... how exciting is that!


3. Cool #3: Calendars are usually made out of paper, and kind of convenient to write on. Or draw on. Or color in, on. (Or over). So... why not encourage children to write in their birthdays, school dates, important stuff... hand out big A3 spacious calendars for kids...


4. Cool #4: You can, with a little friendly effort, easily make your own calendar. Or make it as a children's project. Cool, eh? A photo of them, a few important dates... it's going to look magical!


5. Cool #5: Calendars can help children learn about the planets, stars, and movements of the moon. You can't help but be blown away by this stuff. Make sure you show them a lunar (moon phases) calendar, or maybe a Persian (solar) calendar. And an astronomical calendar too.


6. Cool #6: Calendars make wonderful gifts. And, especially if you can personalize it a little. Add your own photo, or the coolest pet in the world. Or your home. Or nicest animal. Yeah. You know what I mean, right?


7. Cool #7: You can also show children that there are some cool online calendars out there too. That Google calendar sure looked pretty funky to me. And then you can teach them how to use these online calendars, so that they learn about managing time...


8. Cool #8: And talking about managing time... That's what's so good about calendars, isn't it? I can't believe you didn't bring this up earlier... Anyway, you teach children that time is valuable (be a good role model), and they'll value their own time, I'm sure of it.


9. Cool #9: There's LOTS of interesting calendars out there. Wow. Just think of 'em all. All got their own fascination factor too. Where do you start? Hold on. Let me think... Aztec calendars, Chinese calendars, French Republican Calendars... and of course, calendars for kids.


10. Cool #10: Calendars can help children plan for things. An example... an important football game on a certain date, next month. Now you see, you really want to be fired up about that, because it's important.
