Looking for a Chinese conception calendar?
Trying for a girl huh?
In that case, put a pink ribbon under your pillow and a wooden spoon under your bed.
Take calcium and magnesium supplements, cranberry capsules and eat loads of chocolate!
On the other hand, if you are trying for a little slugger, well, that's a bit harder.
You will need to know when ovulation is occurring, and learn to chart weirdly named things like cervical mucas and basal body temperature.
Not to mention using tools like spreadsheets and ovulation predictor kits.
You also have to think about certain foods you can eat that help produce more cervical mucas. If that's not enough, you need to think about timing and positions.
Or you could just get a Chinese birth calendar!
The original Chinese conception calendar was apparently buried in a royal tomb at one time and not always available to the general public.

But now, fast forward 1,000 years, having been on display at the Beijing institute of science, this calendar has now trickled out of China and somehow made its way to the Internet.
The Chinese believe this calendar to be almost 100% accurate although some experts recommend that you choose a boy's name and a girl's name anyway.
That sounds like a good idea to me!
Basically, this miraculous calendar works by the lunar calendar in accordance with the month of conception and the mother's age.
Some experts swear that this calendar is correct 50% of the time!
What happens the other 50% of the time we can only hope and guess!
The Chinese calendar is really easy to use too. First you decide what you want to buy for the next ten years. Dresses and dolls or lots of toy cars. Then, you decide if you'd rather have high phone bills in the future or have your car smashed.

Guide to using an ovulation calendar
Extreme examples of course. Anyway, once you've decided, it's now a perfect time to consult the conception calendar.
I've heard of something called a Mystic Board Chinese birth calendar that you might find interesting.
According to a nice lady in New York that had a real Chinese friend, there are things you can do to the Chinese conception calendar to make it really work.
She says that if you add 1 to the woman's age and exchange the conception month into the Lunar month before you follow the coordinates on your baby grid...
You will successfully predict the gender of your baby.
For a sample of what the calendar looks like here is an inexpensive gender calendar in the format of a paperback that give more instructions.
So, remember, when you are trying to choose your baby's gender, there are only two methods available. The other method (discussed earlier) is arduous. It entails a lot of reading (256 pages) by a man named Landrum B. Shettles who is supposedly known as being a pioneer in infertility treatment.
Now, doesn't the Chinese conception calendar sound more appealing? I thought so.
