If you've ever seen a good custom photo-calendar, you'll know they can look pretty amazing. There's an abundance of choices available but not to worry... However you'll probably want to consider the calendar size, materials, paper used and the theme of the photos you want to use. But here's a quick tip to get you started. Pop over to Amazon.com, Art.com or Calendars.com and cast an eye over the mind boggling array of beautifully presented photography, calendars and books. That should wet your inspirational appetite a little. Looking at other custom photo calendars can do wonders for your own idea juice.
"Do I want to print this amazing custom photo calendar myself, or will I use one of those funky online digital printers such as Shutterfly, Snapfish or a custom photo calendar from CafePress?" But guess what..? Only You Will Know The Answer To That! But either way, you'll probably have to fork out a little for printing costs. As surprising as it sounds, it's probably more economical, and definitely lots of fun, to use an online printing service. Plus it always feels pretty cool to receive something in the mail. Something that isn't a bill, that is.
Anyway, here's what you do. Assuming you're going with that funky online printer, here's a list of some of the stuff you'll probably have to think about...
Kick-in-the-pants easy, eh? By the way, once you're happy with your selection, and checked out, you should get the photo calendar within a week, as long as you don't live in Alaska or Thailand.
I've used CafePress with good results. You get the choice of a simple one page calendar, a wall calendar (plus over-sized), and a vertical wall calendar too. There's an example above. Sheesh. I just realized there's too much to tell you about here. Pop over to CafePress to explore more. Oh, and one more thing. Good luck.
