Seen custom photo calendars that interested you? This simple, step by step guide will show you how to make one. By the time you're done with this page you'll have one or two custom photographic calendars all cooked and ready to send out to friends or mail to someone special. Ready? Let's go! Hold the phone! Before you create your calendar you need to have some digital photos ready. Make them at around 200-250 dpi and about 1-4 MB should be OK. Make sure they look good on your screen... not too dark or bright. You'll know what to do... Ok, here's your 10 steps - from thin air to finished product...
Step 1:

Step 2: Click on make your own stuff. Scroll down and click on 'Prints and Cards.' Easy, isn't it?
Step 3: Select which product you want to create from the list.
See how you have a choice of custom photo calendars such as vertical, over-sized or small, cute type calendars for very low prices? You see them? Good. This is what your Cafepress page should look like. Now select one that you want to make...
Step 4: Let's select the groovy Custom Vertical Wall Calendar as an example. Click on create it. And then keep reading...
Ok, this is where you add your images. Remember I told you at the start you had to have your images ready? Ok, well you need images for this little funky experiment. After all, you want your calendar to be eye-poppingly gorgeous whenever someone takes a look...
"Important" Section About Uploading Your Photos If you haven't added any digital photos yet click on the add a new image link. You can see that lil' magic button right here. This will bring you to a find your image screen. Hit the browse button to find the digital photos from your computer... Don't know what type of images to use? Scroll down and look for the tiny Image Upload FAQ. See that? Hit that with your mouse finger. That'll show you that you want to upload jpg images, and preferably under 4MB and at 200-250 dpi should do the trick. Upload your best digital photos... Including the ultimate winner you want for the cover.
Step 6: Now that you've got your images uploaded, you need to ADD an image to your own custom photo calendar product. Hit the add to product link under any one of your images...
Step 7: See how you have a few choices here? You can choose image height, months, and all that. Just play around with it until you get it right. When you're happy with a specific photo for a specific month, hit next to go to the next month, and so on.
Step 8: All done? Click Save To Finish Later.
Step 9: Excellent! You should be at the 'your excellent product has been saved' page. If not, try going through the steps again. Now the next step gets a little darn weird. You're going to 'buy your own product.' That's right. Don't worry, investing in your own self is the best investment of all! See how I'm using the custom large framed print as an example here? (You should have a calendar)... You can still make edits, changes, create a new version of your calendar, or remove it at this point. Anyhow, let's buy this product.
Step 10: WELL DONE! This page is important. Before you fork over your hard earned gold bullion or sexy silver dollars you want to double check everything is hunky-dory or OK. Especially the photo quality. Once you're good to go, hit Add To Cart. Cool. The virtual shopping cart. There's some shipping costs you'll need to add, and the quantity (1, 2, 3 or more) of calendars you want. When done, click on Proceed To Checkout. You can expect one (or more) of your custom photo calendars to arrive at your doorstop with speedy delivery in a few days. Keep up the GREAT work!
