Before you get your kitten calendar just remember what Terry Pratchett beautifully observed about cats...
"In ancient times cats were worshipped as gods; they have not forgotten this."
But before we jump right into the kitty calendars on this page, let's talk about the little felines.
Did you know that the world of a cat is all scents and odors?
Cats depend on their sense of smell for their very survival, sniffing out the important things like food, mates and potential enemies.
And seeking out its (previously marked) territory.

Did you know that inside their mouth, cats have an amazing organ that is known as Jacobson's Organ?
It's said that this organ helps to perceive the smell of food, possibly act as a sixth sense to help predict unusual occurrences (such as earthquakes) and for the perception of sexual odors (pheromones).
I'm sure you've seen a cat with his head alert and whiskers twitching. If it seems like he's sniffing out danger, he probably is.
And it's fascinating how cats establish their territorial lines...

Male cats mark their territory with urine or with pheromones from glands in their face and feet.
They will travel their territorial boundaries frequently, sniffing at their markings, and reapplying when the odor diminishes.
Other male cats will smell the markings and either respect the territory, or attempt to take it over by introducing their own scent markings.
It sure is amazing stuff!
So why not enjoy the limitless playful energy of kittens in the kitty calendar selection below.
In particular, take a good look at the great photography used. Some kittens look straight into the camera as if they knew their image was about to be used in a calendar and published across the world!

A very cute kitten
Others are photographed just being themselves... Cute, cuddly and occasionally mischievous. Enjoy the cute factor!
